"I Shall Cry
No More Tears"
by Elizabeth Henri
My Pain is unexplainable
My lonliness inconceivable
My sadness unbelieveable
My tears extremely real
My spirit's unbroken
My thoughts unspoken
My exhistance a token
of sorrows not revealed
My heart is aching
My soul is breaking
My sadness taking
everything I feel
Our world is unbending
our humanity depending
the majority pretending
that they're not alone
the drummer is druming
the clouds are humming
the people coming at a pace all their own
The hope they all rely in
the dream they all reside in
the friend they all abide in
create a sheltered dome
Our troubles are perterbing
our selfishness un-nerving
our pride undeserving
of anything but fear
The shadow is now falling
the darkness is calling
I can't help but recalling
my many waisted years
The plan will soon desolve
the eight will soon evolve
my problems shall be solved
I shall cry no more tears.
