"He Is My Lord"
by Michael Marchand
The rain comes pouring down,
But He never lets me drown.
The lightning flashes,
But my plane never crashes.
Though the beast may attack.
I know He's got my back.
He's a symbol of all that's just,
He's the rock in whom I trust.
He is my Lord,
and my Savior.
He is my God,
and my creator.
If the world was dry,
Of thirst I shall not die.
If I need anything at all,
I just have to call.
If my house should be torched,
I shall not be even scorched.
He's a symbol of all that's just,
