"In Every Way I Can"

by Michael Marchand

As I look up at the stars, And darkness fills the land. I know I'll be safe, As long as you hold my hand. The ice cold rain pours down, Fro the grey and dreary sky. But as long as I'm with you, I shall always remain dry. Lord God I praise you, In every way I can. Forit was by your power, that you created man. As I walk through the flames, The red-hot coals at my feet. But with you at my side, I shall not feel the heat. As I stumble through the darkness, I long for the light of day. But with you leading me on, I shall never lose my way. Lord God I love you, In every way I can. For in your own image, You created man. Though the walls may crumble, And my house attacked. I shall not fear death, Cause my Lord's got my back. Even if I get lost, In a never-ending maze. His praise shall live on my lips, All the rest of my days. Lord I honor you, In every way I can. For by your mercy, You forgive man.
