"The Lord Is..."
by Michael Marchand
The Lord is my Shepherd,
There is nothing that I lack.
For the sake of your name,
You guide me down the right path.
Even though I walk through the valleys,
I fear no harm with you at my side.
Your rod and staff give me courage,
And under your wing I shall abide.
Great and wonderful are your works,
Just and true are your ways.
For you alone are the Lord,
I shall follow you all my days.
The Lord is my Light and Salvation,
Whom should I be afraid.
The Lord is my refuge,
I shall the follow the path He has laid.
Lord, show me the way,
Lead me on a level path.
Into the land of the living,
And of my life, please keep track.
The Lord is righteous God,
And He loves just deeds.
The upright shall see his face,
And God will provide for their needs.
Some lines taken from the book of Psalms, and the book of Revelation.
