I was once in a dark place,
Once afraid to show my face.
And the Devil sat beside me,
Attempting to guide me.
I almost followed him,
Into a life of sin.

But then the Lord Almighty,
Placed His hand upon me.
And led me the right way,
On that path I shall always stay.
So now my dark place is bright,
For He has shown me the Light.
