the poet's corner presents

J. Kevin Wolfe

J. Kevin Wolfe has been writing poetry since age 8. After getting published in his high school poetry magazine "Oracle", his poetry was shelved for paying projects that led to a writing career. In addition to writing comedy for the nationally syndicated Gary Burbank Show his articles and cartoons have appeared in Writer's Digest Magazine. His photos have also been published in Starlog Magazine and various newspapers around the country. Each summer he teaches at the Antioch Writer's Workshop. After a few life changing events, dormant poems began to surface. The flourishing poetry community on the web became an outlet. His work has appeared in more than 40 ezines and web pages as well as 4 print publications. His work has been read live on-stage at the Centerfold in New York City's West End Theater. Composer Brett Moore recently set Wolfe's "Time Hates Love" to choral music. J. Kevin Wolfe's business card says "Poet--Cemetery Photographer." Neither of those pay well, so he writes radio humor and cookbooks. Email J. Kevin Wolfe.
